Improvers level Upcoming Series: 12/4 - 12/11 LIVE PERCUSSION! *Suggested that students are familiar with the 5 basic steps of Rumba* Bringing the pulse of Cuba with Cuban Rumba! Enhance your foundation at this comprehensive course for those looking to hone their Cuban Rumba dance technique. This series students will focus ways of handling and details of the scarf or skirt for females, and using the handkerchief for males, accompanied with musicality and body movement drills. You will cultivate the intention and nuances of movements to help you develop a more authentic form of expression on the dance floor. Classes will weave in cultural, and historical information about this graceful and powerful form of Cuban music and dance. Once marginalized, but now considered the pulse of Cuba, rumba celebrates self-expression, joy, and resilience!
