Wednesdays @ 7:30 PM PT! November Series: 11/8 - 11/15 - 11/29 - 12/6 LIVE PERCUSSION! Bringing the pulse of Cuba with Cuban Rumba! Enhance your foundation at this comprehensive course for those new to Cuban Rumba or looking into honing their Cuban Rumba dance technique. You can expect a step by step introduction to this dance form that starts with the 5 basic steps of Rumba, along with footwork, posture, body movement and isolation, along with musicality drills. You will cultivate the intention and nuances of movements to help you develop a more authentic form of expression on the dance floor. Classes will weave in cultural, and historical information about this graceful and powerful form of Cuban music and dance. Once marginalized, but now considered the pulse of Cuba, rumba celebrates self-expression, joy, and resilience!
